This week I tried out:

Dorian Gray (15)
YSL Touche Eclat shade 1 £22
Books 1 -4 of Sookie Stackhouse Mysteries (True Blood) RRP. £6.99

~Dorian Gray (15) in cinemas now~
Dorian Gray, staring Ben Barnes and Colin Firth, based on the novel, 'The Portrait of Dorian Gray' by Oscar Wilde, tells the story of Dorian and the impressive portrait painted of him as a gift. After the death of his young love, Sybil Vane, Dorian makes a deal to stay forever beautiful and be able to continue in his pursuit of life's pleasures. But such a bargain comes at a price, and so whilst Dorian stays youthful, his picture ages with decay of all his wicked deeds.
Here's a version of the trailer you you to check out:

~YSL Touche Eclat shade 1 £22~
Being quite fair / light skinned, I tend to find that many foundations and concealers are too dark for me and lead to looking like I have streaky lines and a fight with a pot of bronzing powder!
Whilst as £22 it is not the most purse friendly of make-up ranges, it is definitely worth treating yourself to for a birthday or special event. It takes a few clicks on the end of the pen to get it started, which then releases small quantities of the liquid into the soft brush tip which you then use to apply quite smoothly without streaking, looking caked or ending up all over your finger tips. If you need more, just click again! Shade number 1 is also light enough to be worn alone if you just want to brighten-up under eye areas as opposed to wearing a full face of make-up.

Available at selected Debenhams and Selfridges stores nationwide (as well as online of course!)

~Books 1 -4 of Sookie Stackhouse Mysteries (True Blood) RRP. £6.99 each~
Perfect for fans of vampire literature, and the True Blood tv series.
The book series follows a telapathic waitress named Sookie and how her world gets turned upside down after a Vampire named Bill walks into her workplace one night, two years after the Japanese invented a synthetic blood substitute, True Blood, which comes in O, AB and AB negative, allowing vampires to no longer need to hunt on mortals, thus bringing them 'out of the coffin'. The book series isn't identical to the exact order of events on the show, but do work well together hand in hand.
